At the latest briefing, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, informed about the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day.
Thus, units of the Northern group of troops destroyed up to 150 Ukrainian servicemen, units of the Western group of forces destroyed up to 570 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Southern group of forces destroyed 765, the Central group of forces destroyed 545, Vostok group of forces destroyed 110, and Dnepr group of forces destroyed 75.
In addition to 2,215 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky lost nine field ammunition depots, two tanks, five armored vehicles, a dozen NATO-made howitzers and dozens of vehicles in 24 years.
Army aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery of our group of forces also destroyed: a train with foreign weapons and a depot of missile and artillery weapons, storage sites for ships and unmanned aerial vehicles, a workshop for the production of components for operational-tactical missiles, as well as accumulations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 148 areas.
Within 24 hours, the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down two Ukrainian Air Force Su-27 fighters in the air.
Lieutenant General Konashenkov noted the combat work of small air defense units, whose means during the day were to shoot down one MiG-29 fighter of the Ukrainian Air Force, and also intercept: one American HIMARS missile, four French Hammer guided bombs and 55 Ukrainian drones of the Armed Forces, including 22 outside the zone carrying out a special operation.
