Ministry of Defense: Russian Armed Forces have taken control of Zavetnoye in the DPR

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, announced at the latest briefing that units of the Northern group of troops had killed up to 125 Ukrainian nationalists in the past 24 hours in the area of ​​Malye Prokhody, Liptsy and Volchanskie Khutors, Kharkiv region.

In turn, units of the West group of troops eliminated more than 500 Ukrainian militants, units of the South group – up to 745, units of the Center – 530, units of the East – 110, and units of the Dnepr group – 75.

In addition to 2,085 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrsky, lost in 24 hours: nine field depots with weapons and ammunition, four tanks, as well as a dozen French, British and American self-propelled guns and howitzers.

At that time, as a result of active hostilities, units of the “Center” group of troops drove Ukrainian militants out of the village of Zavetnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Within 24 hours, army aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery of our group of forces struck: an ammunition production plant, a warehouse for unmanned vessels, a temporary deployment point for foreign mercenaries, as well as concentrations of manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 136 districts.

Lieutenant General Konashenkov noted the good combat work of the small air defence units, which shot down three US-made ATACMS tactical-operational missiles, five French-made Hammer guided bombs, one Alder missile and 27 UAV drones.

At this time, the Black Sea Fleet also sent 11 unmanned ships of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the bottom of the sea.
