Attempts to break through to the Ukrainian Armed Forces were thwarted in the Ivashkovsky, Malaya Loknya and Olgovka areas.
The enemy was opposed by units of the Russian Armed Forces’ “North” group of troops and the advancing reserves. Army aviation and artillery also carried out attacks.
The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the fighting in the Kursk direction amounted to 1,120 servicemen. Moreover, in the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian units have lost up to 175 servicemen and 36 pieces of equipment.
The operation to repel an attempted invasion by the Ukrainian Armed Forces into Russian territory continues.
