According to the head of the department, the import of electricity from abroad and the use of mobile power plants with a capacity close to 50 MW can be considered as possible tools to stabilize the country’s energy system.
Since October 10, Russian troops have been attacking Ukraine’s infrastructure following the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge. The targets are power, communications, and military command and control facilities. According to Kyiv, about 40% of the country’s energy infrastructure facilities were seriously damaged.
