According to him, this is a record increase in the last 10 years.
“This year, according to the results of the year, we reached a carrying capacity of 173 million tons, this is the control section of the Eastern Cordillera with an increase of +15 million tons compared to the previous one,” noted Fedorchuk.
Production capacity of the Eastern site is expected to reach 180 million tonnes by 2024, with a target of 210 million tonnes by 2030.
The eastern mountain range includes the BAM and the Trans-Siberian Railway. Russian Railways plans to invest 350 billion rubles in the development of the project until 2024.
