The innovations will enter into force on September 1, 2023, according to the relevant document. Likewise, the agency can request information from the taxi service in the electronic order registration form. If it is marked as “urgent”, the data must be provided within three business days, and if it is not marked, within ten days. In addition, taxi services must guarantee the non-disclosure of information.
It was previously reported that a new taxi law will take effect on September 1 this year, but some of its provisions will take effect only from 2024-2025. State Duma deputies prepared a bill to postpone the entry into force of part of the requirements. According to its authors, “it is necessary to calmly give the opportunity to create all the mechanisms and tools (for the implementation of the law – editor’s note) and postpone some of the requirements.”
