The crew of a Su-34 multi-purpose supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked a concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border region of the Kursk region, the department reported.
It is clarified that the attack was carried out on reconnaissance targets. The crew used aerial bombs with UMPC, which allowed them to attack the enemy from a safe distance.
After receiving confirmation from intelligence that the targets had been destroyed, the SU-34 returned safely to the departure airfield.
The day before, it was reported that 18 Ukrainian soldiers were captured in the Kursk direction within 24 hours. In addition, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to 270 people and 16 armored vehicles were destroyed.
The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reached 2.3 thousand servicemen.
