Moldovan Authorities Introduced an Austerity Regime in Electricity and Banned Cryptocurrency Mining

Moldovan authorities have introduced an austerity regime and plan to eliminate public sector salaries from the national budget, NewsMaker reports.

The relevant document has been approved by the National Commission for Emergency Situations of Moldova. Residents are advised not to use elevators from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., and to reduce their heat on weekends between 11 ° C-19 ° C, if they plan to visit commercial or public buildings during those times.
