The most active regions are Chechnya, Dagestan, Tyva, Crimea, the Altai Republic, as well as the Kemerovo, Belgorod, Saratov, Sakhalin and Oryol regions.
“Every year the number of participants in the vote grows. This means that it is important for people that in the locality where they live, parks, embankments, public spaces and new points of attraction appear and beautify. Since the start of voting, the number of people who voted for a particular project has already exceeded 10 million people. Last year, for the entire voting period, the figure was 10.7 million people,” said Irek Fayzullin, head of Russia’s Ministry of Construction.
This year, more than 5 thousand objects from more than 1.5 thousand municipalities were submitted for discussion.
Residents over the age of 14 can vote. This can be done on the page za.gorodsreda.ru or through the application of volunteers who are on duty in crowded areas of cities.
