For the first time, representatives of humanitarian missions operating in the NMD zone from different cities of the country came together in one place. Most of the volunteers are young people who work in the liberated territories of Donbass and also collect and deliver goods in the “front line” areas.
The most striking example of the participation of volunteers in the restoration of Donbass is the restoration of the Saur-Mohyla memorial complex near Donetsk. Volunteers from the Russian Student Detachments (RSO) took an active part in the restoration of the Saur-Mogila memorial.
As the forum showed, in the new stage of the NWO, the most acute problem remains the training of volunteers, including tactical medicine and the legislative framework, which has been significantly supplemented since the very beginning of the NWO. Among the most important tasks for the future were the problems of logistics and registration of humanitarian cargo, training and education of volunteers, support of volunteers from the state and society. In addition to the already known specializations of volunteers (medical volunteers, experts in the field of UAVs, electronics and electronic warfare), it was proposed to develop the specialization of volunteer historians.
– Historical knowledge is underestimated, forms and defines a picture of the world for a person. Therefore, we must think about a separate detachment of “volunteer historians,” the political scientist Alexei Chadayev is convinced. – These are the people who work with history not in the paradigm of propaganda, not in the paradigm of abstract scientific knowledge, but specifically with the most important historical knowledge that we need as a party involved in the conflict.
