The choice of the partner country of the current exhibition is very symbolic: Belarus and Russia not only suffered sanctions together, but also agreed on 17 integration import substitution projects worth 80 billion rubles. In fact, our countries are forming a single industrial space of the state of the union to produce products for both the internal and external markets. Among the most promising areas are microelectronics, machine tool construction, mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical, light and chemical industries. The national exhibition of Belarus at Innoprom included the products of 130 companies of the republic.
The business program is formed based on business needs – this is a key success factor
The business program of the forum includes more than 100 events, which are divided into thematic axes: new mobility, digital production, new technologies, educational solutions for the industry. The main strategic session is dedicated to strengthening technological sovereignty. A separate block is the expansion of trade and economic ties with the countries of the EAEU, the SCO and the Arab world. “The pandemic and the breakdown of supply chains were followed by a total division in the world. Companies on all continents are forced to find new ways to work with each other. “The old way will not work anymore, the new way means completely reformatting business approaches”, the organizers greet the guests like this Exhibitions.
– During the year, together with partners, industrial and technological companies, we raise session topics, new formats and decide which speakers to invite. Otherwise, the exhibition risks being disconnected from the real needs of business, and for us this is a key success factor, because Innoprom is the only congress event in the country that does not receive any state subsidies, – emphasizes the director of the program Anton Atrashkin.
The special practical value of the exhibition is confirmed by the forum of component manufacturers and the “dialogue with trade representatives” – they are in great demand. Thus, in 2022, 350 SME component manufacturers were able to negotiate with buyers and discuss orders. This time, in addition to Russian suppliers, Indians, Uzbeks and Kazakhs will present their capabilities. In addition, 55 foreign trade representatives from the Russian Federation will come to Innoprom. Last year about a thousand inquiries were made about the specifics of exporting or locating production in countries open to our business.
It should be noted that more than 20 events in this year’s business program are somehow related to the digitization of the real sector: on the agenda are the development of domestic industrial software, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, industrial robotics, unmanned vehicles, etc.
– In fact, no one will bypass the issue of digitization of industry, especially since a national conference on new industrial technologies will be held within the framework of Innoprom, which we have prepared together with ANO Tsifrovaya ekonomika, – Anton Atrashkin explains the role in it. – Digitization has covered all areas of production, without it it is impossible to create a competitive product. The best illustration of this trend was the disappearance of specialized exhibitions for industrial IT: all software developers participate in industry events and demonstrate the results of implementing their products at customer stands.
