We remember that on May 28 the start of the summer health campaign in the region took place. During the first month of summer in the Ulyanovsk region, 25 rural camps, 347 school day camps, 112 work and recreation camps and one tent camp in the Baryshsky district operated.
“In the first shift, 30.5 thousand children rested in children’s camps of various types. It should be noted that during the month of June, inclusive shifts were held in five rural camps with the participation of 140 children with speech, visual and mental disorders. “For 250 children and people with disabilities, shifts were organized in day camps based on correctional schools,” said Natalya Semenova, Minister of Education and Training of the Ulyanovsk region.
According to information from the relevant department, special attention is paid to the organization of recreation and improving the health of children in difficult life situations, children from large families and children from families of SVO participants. In total, 9,360 children participated in the free vouchers for the first shift in children’s health camps, of which 1,770 participated in the shifts in rural camps. Free shipping to holiday destinations and vice versa was organized for children in these categories.
A special feature of the summer health campaign was the provision of employment to adolescents: in June, more than 4.5 thousand children worked in work teams of high school students, forest schools, student production teams and in school areas .
In addition, throughout the summer period, 162 specialized shifts will operate in the region, in which schoolchildren will be able to acquire additional skills and become familiar with current and in-demand professions.
In addition, the Knowledge.Science educational project was launched in children’s health camps of the Ulyanovsk region. Thus, more than 200 schoolchildren who were on vacation in children’s health camps took part in a series of lectures by the winner of the All-Russian competition, professor of the Russian Society “Knowledge”, vice-rector for educational work of the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University. named after IN Ulyanov Elena Papusha.
Currently, the second shift has started in six rural camps. Also on June 24, arrivals will be made at 12 other camps. In total, during July, 25 rural health camps, 85 school day camps, 18 work and recreation camps and three tent camps will operate in the region, in which more than 12.5 thousand children will rest.
