“According to the schedule, work on the preparation of equipment and networks that supply heat to the buildings of the education system has been completed,” Petr Biryukov noted. “Currently more than 4,500 schools, kindergartens and other institutions have been prepared for the heating season.”
He noted that under special control is the preparation for the autumn-winter period of educational facilities, since with the beginning of the heating season, heat is first of all supplied to these organizations.
“The preparations for the winter in the capital have come to an end, in total we will prepare more than 74,000 facilities, including more than 34,000 apartment buildings. All activities will end on time, before September 1,” said Petr Biryukov.
The head of the municipal economic complex noted that thanks to high-quality and timely preparation, heating seasons in Moscow for more than 11 consecutive years have passed without serious accidents and blackouts.
