On September 14, the Moscow School of Contemporary Art will hold an open day at the Artplay design center. Guests will be able to take curator Eteri Ordzhonikidze on a tour of the MSCA student and alumni exhibition “Presence Revealed” and wander through the school’s workshops.
Guests will also be able to enjoy performances by artist, director of MSCA, Mikhail Levin, chief curator of Triumph Gallery, Polina Mogilina, artist, nominee for the Zverev Prize, nominee for the Kandinsky Prize, Ivan Novikov.
The open day will begin with a tour of the university and a visit to an exhibition of works by students and alumni. Then the curators of the program will talk about the learning process and the features of the educational areas: Director of MSCA Mikhail Levin will present the program “Contemporary Art”, art critic and curator of Triumph gallery Polina Mogilina will present “Practices of the curator”, and art critic and curator with 10 years of experience in Moscow museums, a London consulting agency and the New York art and technology company Alisa Lisovskaya – direction “Art Management in Contemporary Art”.
We remind you that Sistema Gallery announced the project “Speed Dating. Art market trends in the works of young artists”. Its aim will be to analyze the trends of the last decade in contemporary art.
