On August 12, 2023, the All-Russian festival “Night of Factories” will take place for the first time. It will bring together art and industrial facilities from 16 regions of Russia, which will open their doors to spectators for one night and hold various cultural events. The open call to participate in the festival collected more than 90 applications. The competitive selection determined 18 participants, who were divided into three groups, depending on the participation format: “Factory launch”, “Partner plant”, “Giant plant”.
Subjects from the Great Urals, the focus region of the festival in 2023, became participants at the “Associated Plant” level. At the industrial premises of the Voskresensky Zavod art center, Turchaninov-Solomirsky smithy, Zapsibneftekhim, Sibur-Khimprom and the Chelyabinsk pipe-rolling plant, walking shows created by the New Media Laboratory team of the Theater will take place Alexandrinsky New Stage. .
The Giant Plant Group is represented by the Water Tower in the city of Slobodskoy, the historical buildings of the railway complex of the Tyumen branch of the Sverdlovsk Railways, the Derbent Wine Company, the Elmat plant, the Transport Works from Kaliningrad, the Zarya space, the Oktava creative industrial cluster and the Museum of Machine Tools, factory “Krasny Perekop”, Center for Creative Industries “Factory”, Workshop of the Aleksandrovsky Plant (Onega Tractor). Participants, together with professional teams, independently implement cultural projects.
