The main goals of the festival are to create a favorable environment for cooperation between the peoples of Africa and Russia, to acquaint a wide audience with the customs and traditions of African countries, to develop friendly ties between the peoples of the world through culture and African art.
Festival participants look forward to a week-long immersion in the vibrant world of African culture. About a thousand dancers, musicians, designers from Africa and Russia will take part in the project. The culmination will be the Dreams of Africa gala show, says Nadezhda Kuzmina, general producer of KizzAfro Art Week of African Culture.
According to her, tonight in “Cosmos” you can listen to musicians from Cape Verde, Nigeria, Zambia, Guinea, accompanied by an Angolan symphony orchestra “Kaposoka” and see traditional and modern dances performed by professional artists from Angola, Rwanda and Russia. .
