On the same day, a meeting was held to select a preventive measure for him, during which the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee asked the court to arrest the suspect.
He was accused of accepting a bribe on an especially large scale. According to paragraph 6 of art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, if Vasiliev is found guilty, he will face up to 15 years in prison.
