– In 2022, the Museum of Victory and its branches were visited by almost 1.3 million people. This is 1.5 times more than in 2021, when 878,000 people became guests of the museum and its branches.
In addition, this year the demand for excursions has grown: the museum and its branches were visited by about 450 thousand people, and last year – 240 thousand. Most often, guests attend interactive tours of the large-scale exhibitions “Feat of the people” and “Battle for Moscow. First victory!”.
It was previously reported that the Victory Museum will prepare 45 new exhibits next year. They will open in the main building of the institution on Poklonnaya Gora, branches of the museum in Rzhev, Krasnogorsk and Zhukov. And the deputy mayor of Moscow, Natalya Sergunina, said that in the week of New Year’s Eve the city will host “Finds in Restoration” for the first time. In particular, the “Festive Leningrad” high relief found by VDNKh specialists, archival films and parts of a ceramic chandelier from 1954, which will now be used to recreate similar lost lamps, will be on display.
