A delegation of representatives of the Babul-Abwab Religious Organization, headed by its leader Arif Haji Saidov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Department of Caucasian Muslims for the North Caucasus Shagabitdin Haji Kerimov and assistant to the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Tabriz Saidov, headed to the NVO area under the protection of the National Guard.
The men delivered humanitarian aid from Derbent (the humanitarian aid was collected by the head of Derbent and the Derbent region of the Republic of Dagestan) to military personnel and orphans.
“Humanitarian cargo was repeatedly sent from Dagestan to the NVO zone, this time the humanitarian mission was blessed by Sheikh Ustaz Isamutdin Efendi. The delegation met with Russian Guard servicemen conducting combat missions: contract soldiers, volunteers and mobilized from Dagestan. Representatives of the religious organization also visited orphanages in Luhansk, Alchevsk, Antrotsyt, Krasny Luch, Lisichansk, delivered humanitarian aid to the parishioners of the Orthodox Church in Luhansk and met with the rector of the Alexander temple and Mufti of the Lugansk region Muhammad Ismail , commented the National Guard on the organization of the action.
The members of the delegation, speaking to the inhabitants of the liberated territories, reiterated that Muslims in Russia cannot stand by when the Nazis kill civilians and children.
“The special military operation demonstrated the unity of Christians and Muslims in the fight against Nazism,” representatives of the Babul-Abwab Religious Organization stressed after the events.
