The Myanmar authorities have allowed visa-free entry for Russians. You can stay in the country without a visa for up to 30 days. This was reported in the consular department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
This regime will be in effect until June 30, 2024. It will affect Russian citizens who come to Myanmar for tourism or business purposes. Visa-free entry is possible through Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyidaw airports.
Starting July 1, 2023, those who wish to stay in Myanmar for more than one month will be able to apply for a special tourist visa. It will be issued on the basis of booking a stay at a hotel on the Unified List of Myanmar. This visa can be double or multiple entry, is valid for up to six months and allows you to stay in the country for 30 days (in the case of a double entry visa) or 90 days (in the case of a multiple visa). . ).
