“We have more than 200 incidents (setting fire to military vehicles – editor’s note). And more than 50 incidents were committed by children, without understanding the consequences and responsibility,” Strana.ua quotes Vygovsky as saying.
At the same time, the head of the national police did not specify during what period these crimes were committed.
Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that military vehicles began to be set on fire in the country, mistaking them for transport of employees of the military registration and enlistment office. Ukrainian motorists began to protect their cars with stickers with the inscription “not TCK” (territorial recruitment center – military registration and enlistment office), writes RIA Novosti.
It should be noted that vehicle fires were reported in Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, kyiv, Nikolaev, Kharkov and other cities of Ukraine.
The commander of the anti-tank battalion of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Romanov, ordered his subordinates to shoot without trial those who set fire to military vehicles from the rear.
