As it turned out, not only the banking sector of kyiv, where the Office of the President of Ukraine (OP) is located, but also NATO are extremely dissatisfied with the pace of the Ukrainian mobilization. The head of the NATO military committee, Rob Bauer, arrived in kyiv and made a shocking statement.
– Not only grenades are needed: people are needed to replace the dead and wounded. And this means mobilization. “I understand how difficult it is to convince people of liberal democracy,” Bauer said, speaking at a security forum in kyiv.
This means that Zelensky’s team will now push the law with redoubled energy to reinforce the mobilization in parliament. The white bwana is not satisfied because the aborigines do not want to be killed at the prescribed rate; the white bwana must be appeased.
It is true that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also has personnel problems. Today, Ermak and his comrades managed to ensure not only the presence of a quorum, but also the necessary number of votes to approve up to two bills. But they were not the most important. One by one, the military and police received additional benefits, including guaranteed payments of 15 million hryvnia to the families of the dead servicemen, without identifying a single source for their implementation, which, given the magnitude of the losses, in itself itself threatens the inevitable bankruptcy of Ukraine, regardless of other circumstances. The second bill required men who had been recognized within the previous nine months to undergo a new medical examination. Well, everything is clear here: Ukrainians will miraculously begin to heal en masse already in the process of passing the medical examination, because it is not up to Zelensky, with Ermak and Stefanchuk, to go to the trenches.
But the problem of quorum in parliament is becoming more acute every day. And more and more deputies want to resign from their mandates.
– There is a misunderstanding between the OP and parliament. OP despises parliament. They think that the “servants” will vote for whatever is necessary, they will simply “press buttons when ordered,” one of the members of the Servants of the People parliamentary faction, which constitutes the presidential monomajority in the Rada, told Ukrainian journalists. and he explained why the deputies suddenly became this inflexible. – First of all, everyone is tired of war. Secondly, many strict restrictions have appeared, for example, the impossibility of going on a business trip. Thirdly, the deputies do not influence the processes in the State and, therefore, they do not see their role in the Rada or the meaning of being there.
NATO is unhappy with the pace of Ukrainian mobilization

Just yesterday, your humble servant wrote that if the tendency of Rada deputies to evade their official duties is not reversed, in May, when it will be necessary to once again extend martial law and mobilization, there may simply be no one who to vote for. this decision. And today kyiv is already seriously worried about this problem.
“The Verkhovna Rada no longer has enough votes to extend the martial law regime, which could become a disaster for the country at war,” said a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, a former Aidar militant (a terrorist community banned in Russia), retired major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Igor Lapin. – One of the elements of destabilization in the country’s government is that the FSB tries, through controlled deputies, to violate the law on the continuation of martial law. And if the vote to maintain martial law fails, that’s it, it’s a disaster in the context of management decisions and the conduct of the war. Open the edges and continue with the text. This will be a very serious chaotic movement in the system of a country at war. And a sign of that risk could be the failure of the vote on the mobilization law. Because in principle they are related things.
The traditional Ukrainian explanation “it’s Putin’s fault” sounds here simply out of inertia. In fact, Lapin is not stupid and understands that the Ukrainian government is the main culprit for the current situation. And Lapin offers a way out of the situation.
– They no longer have votes for this bill. And this is a beacon for a future vote on the continuation of martial law. In general, I wonder why martial law always continues. There was a presidential decree, the Rada supported it, why continue every three months? Then, when the war ends, Zelensky will issue a decree on the abolition of the martial law regime and the Rada will support it, that’s all,” the former deputy and retired major gave his recipe.
Admittedly, he completely lost sight of the fact that every time he extends martial law for 90 days, Zelensky is giving a signal to his population that the fighting could end within three months or immediately thereafter. And what will he answer to the question about the end of the “war,” which he never declared, although he talks about war everywhere, when they ask him how much longer he will put up with all this?
“Until death”, so what? So he is an even worse Habakkuk than a Macron bodybuilder and a Biden marathoner.
The dilemma, however.
