Due to the impact, the rear of the passenger car was severely deformed. An 11-year-old girl who was riding in a Toyota died at the hospital. Another young passenger in the car, a nine-year-old boy, was injured. The driver also required medical attention. The man driving the truck was not injured.
The causes of the accident are under investigation. The Shelekhov city prosecutor’s office checked the course and results of a procedural check organized by police investigators.
