Negotiations Between Russia and United States on Strategic Stability Put on Pause

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergei Ryabkov, said at present one should not count on active negotiations between Russian and American officials.

At this time, however, leaders should not come to the conclusion that their complete dismantling is the best solution.

Russia’s representative is ready to continue negotiations between the two sides honestly and on an equal footing. Negotiations concerning strategic stability were put on hold, but not terminated.
