Netflix has published the first teaser of the series “Lydia Poet’s Law”, which tells the story of the first female lawyer in the history of Italy: Lydia Poet. The project will premiere on the platform on February 15. The video appeared on the streaming service’s YouTube channel.
The show tells the story of a girl who, in the second half of the 19th century, decided to become a lawyer. At that time, this profession was practically inaccessible to women. However, Lydia Poet managed to get around prejudice.
The path of a young Italian towards her dream was not easy. Lydia Poet studied at the University of Turin and graduated in law, but few believed in her talent as a professional.
The main role in “Lydia the Poet’s Law” was played by Italian actress Mathilde De Angelis. The series also stars Eduardo Scarpetta, Pierluigi Pasino, Sinead Thornhill, Dario Aita, and Sarah Lazzaro. They starred in six episodes of the Letizia Lamartire and Matteo Rovere show.
Netflix previously released a video with movie releases in 2023. Among them are “The Virgin” with Millie Bobby Brown and the thriller “Mother” with Jennifer Lopez. We talk about it in more detail here.
