On June 30, a pop-up restaurant will open in Los Angeles, serving dishes from the most popular chefs and bartenders on the Netflix streaming platform. Variety writes about it.
The project is called Netflix Bites. It will be located in the Short Stories hotel, not luxury, which is unexpected. Netflix promises that Curtis Stone, Dominique Krenn, Rodney Scott, Ann Kim, Jacques Torres and other star professional chefs who have become heroes of the platform’s cooking shows will be able to meet at the restaurant.
“Sharing my love of food with people from all over the world is one of the most exciting experiences of my life. But bringing that experience from the screen to the table, to give fans a taste of what often goes on behind the camera, is just amazing,” said Curtis Stone, commenting on the opening of Netflix Bites.
Let’s remember that since last year, Netflix began to actively fight against password sharing. Customers began to be notified that people living outside the same household could not use the same subscription. According to research firm Antenna, the new broadcast policy has worked, with the number of new subscribers hitting a four-year record.
