We continue to show you the brightest musical news of the outgoing week. The new compilation includes the album from former HIM frontman Ville Valo, clips from A$AP Rocky, Fall Out Boy and Drake, The Weeknd’s adaptation of the Avatar: The Way of Water soundtrack, an unexpected track from J Cole in fan production and other exciting releases.
Ville Valo – album “Neon Noir”
Former HIM frontman Ville Valo has released his first solo album, Neon Noir. It included 12 tracks, which the artist himself calls “12 lessons in reckless selflessness.” “I firmly believe that “Neon Noir” will bring a bit of shine to the pessimism of modernity, which was so lacking”, the artist commented on the release of the album. Valo also released a music video for the title track. From 1991 until HIM’s breakup in 2017, the founders of Finnish love metal managed to release eight full-length records.
A$AP Rocky – “Angels” video
A$AP Rocky has released a new version of the video for the song “Angels”. The release is timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the release of the rapper’s debut album, Long.Live.A$AP, on which the song first appeared. In the video, you can see archival footage of a young A$AP Rocky and his crew. The video also pays tribute to the late A$AP Yams, who has a halo over his head in the clip. On social media, the rapper wrote that on the 10th anniversary of his first commercial album, he wants to “think about the people he misses and the time they had.”
Fall Out Boy – “Love From The Other Side” Video
Fall Out Boy has announced his first studio album in five years, So Much (for) Stardust. The artists also released a video for the single “Love From the Other Side”. In the video, Pete Wentz, in the form of an old man, tells his granddaughter a bedtime story. “Love From the Other Side” is the first official single from Fall Out Boy in over three years. He will appear in the upcoming So Much (for) Stardust sequel to Mania. It will be released on March 24.
The Weeknd – clip “Nothing is lost (you give me strength)”
One of the main representatives of the modern Memphis trap scene, Moneybagg Yo, released a potential new hit “On Wat U On”, designed to spark interest in the upcoming album. Its launch is scheduled for this year. On the single, the duo trade catchphrases about their love relationship, over which they will always prefer money.
Drake – “Jumbotron Shit Poppin” Music Video
Drake has released a music video for the song “Jumbotron Shit Poppin”. This is the second video in support of the album “Her Loss”, which is reminiscent of a video blog from the life of a superstar. The video does not contain any studio footage or complex scenarios. This is just a story about Drake’s life, which is sometimes more effective than the best blockbusters.

Australian The Kid Laroi, who rose to fame after the release of a collaboration with Justin Bieber, is completing his long-awaited album “The First Time”. The opening composition of the release, “I can’t go back to the way I was”, is intended to brighten the expectations of the fans. The melodic ballad is dedicated to the performer’s mental struggles related to past mistakes and the desire to become the best version of himself. The release of the album “La Primera Vez” is expected for January 27.

EDM producer Skrillex is gearing up to release his first album in 10 years and is actively introducing listeners to his content. After the dissimilar works “Way Back” and “Rumble”, he presented the composition “Leave Me Like This”, in which he continues to break genre boundaries. On the song, the producer uses the electric sound of house, whose dance direction is softened by the melodic and elevated voice of Bobby Raps.
J. Cole – track “Procrastination (Broke)”
Throughout his career, J. Cole has remained one of the most outspoken hip-hop artists in the industry. With the new act from him, he once again confirmed it. The recently published artist’s composition “Procrastination (Broke)” appeared on a third-party channel of a little-known producer bvtman, whose reference the author left on the cover. The artist stated that this track should remain on the fan channel and serve as “thank you to all the other producers who work daily on his stuff and share it with the world.”
Noel Gallagher – Video “Easy Now”
Former Oasis member Noel Gallagher has announced his fourth studio album with High Flying Birds, Council Skies. Its premiere will take place on June 2. At the same time, the musician released a video for the single “Easy Now”, which will be included in the next album. It starred actress Millie Alcock, who played a young version of Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon. The forthcoming album “Council Skies” is described as “the musician’s most diverse and completely solo record to date.”
