Studio Warner Bros. released the new trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods”. The tape will be released in theaters on March 17 and will tell the continuation of the adventures of the superhero from the 2019 film. The video appeared on the YouTube channel of the film company.
In the sequel, the teenager Billy Batson, who transforms into the superhero Shazam, will have to face the powerful daughters of Atlas. The antagonists will try to destroy Shazam and his friends and take away their powers.
Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu will appear as vengeful goddesses in the film. Zachary Levy, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Megan Good will return to their roles. Also in the picture you can see DJ Cotrona, Grace Caroline Curry, Faithy Herman, Ian Chen, Hovan Armand, Martha Milans, Cooper Andrews, Djimon Hounsou.
Rachel Zegler, best known for her role in West Side Story, will join the franchise. David F. Sandberg will return to act as director, with Peter Safran serving as producer. The sequel was written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan.
It was previously reported that Warner Bros. will be releasing a remake of The Wizard of Oz. Directed by Kenya Barris.
