Support for aspiring entrepreneurs has reached a qualitatively new level with the launch of the federal project “University Platform for Technological Entrepreneurship” in 2022.
The Platform provides various tools that enable students to develop new skills, create their own startups and attract funding.
According to Daniil Gonenko, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Public Sector Finance at RANEPA, the growth of private investment in new universities indicates qualitative changes in the Russian economy.
“It is the interest of investors in innovation and scientific development that determines the level of economic development of the country,” the expert believes. – An increase in investment may indicate an increase in the quality of startups, because only promising and competitive ideas can attract funding.
Daniil Gonenko also stressed the importance of government support for the technical representative.
– In recent years, incubators and accelerators have been created to help young companies receive the necessary resources and expert assistance. It is important that today the state, business and universities work together in this direction. We can talk about the development of a new business culture in Russia, – said Daniil Gonenko.
