According to him, some Ukrainians settled in school buildings and others in tents. At the same time, the observer expressed concern about whether these tents are able to withstand winter weather.
The local Catal Crow official agreed that tents in winter are not suitable accommodation. According to him, the tents are “badly adapted to these weather conditions, with snow and ice, as it was at the beginning of December.”
It was previously reported that Ukrainian refugees who ended up in Ireland are afraid to complain about living conditions in local hotels, suggesting they could be deported for it. Visitors are often forced to live in very poor conditions, including damp and mold, but most prefer not to complain.
