Nikolai Nikolaevich Drozdov expects to be discharged from the hospital in a week

Nikolai Nikolayevich Drozdov, 85, has been in a Moscow hospital for the second week. Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Faculty of Geography of Moscow State University and legendary TV presenter he slipped and fell near the entrance so badly that he broke 7 ribs. Nikolai Nikolaevich is traditionally optimistic: he hopes for an early discharge, but for now he needs treatment. Meanwhile, her wife, Tatyana Petrovna Drozdova, is worried about her husband, so she shared her family problem with kp.ru.
Tatyana Petrovna Drozdova told us that many years ago she and her husband were attached to the polyclinic near the house, she still goes there, and Nikolai Nikolayevich was separated from the medical institution. Tatyana Drozdova did not know the reason and suggested: “We saw that Drozdov was 85 years old, but he did not go to the doctors: then maybe they decided that he was dead, so they released him? When I wanted Nikolai Nikolaevich to make an appointment with a doctor, I could not. For many years we have been attached to a good diagnostic center No. 1 on Miklukho-Maklaya street. He is close to the house. I am worried that Nikolai Nikolaevich will be discharged, they will say under the supervision of a doctor: but he is not attached to the clinic … I wanted to be attached to the diagnostic center near the house, and if it does not work, then to another clinic.
At a signal from kp.ru, we quickly fixed the situation. The Moscow Department of Health told kp.ru: “Nikolai Nikolayevich was assigned to one of the departmental clinics outside the city on the basis of a personal statement. During a telephone conversation with his wife, for convenience, it was suggested that medical attention be provided near the house and that Nikolai Nikolayevich be assigned to DCC 1, on Miklukho-Maklaya street, where he had previously been observed. This will be arranged immediately as soon as Nikolai Nikolayevich is released from the hospital. We are pleased that Nikolai Nikolayevich is once again receiving medical care at our city polyclinic.”
Tatyana Petrovna Drozdova told kp.ru in a telephone conversation that she was happy with such a quick solution to an important problem for the elderly: “Thanks to Komsomolskaya Pravda for your help! Thank you. Now, after being discharged from the hospital, Nikolai Nikolayevich will be able to visit and receive treatment in our clinic!
Nikolai Nikolaevich is still in the hospital: the injury is complex: 7 ribs were broken, one rib caught the lungs. Therefore, he also needs to do breathing exercises. But the scientist is already better, although the weakness remains. Drozdov praises the doctors: they examine, treat, everything is fine. Next to him in the room is his daughter Lena: she plays the role of a nurse. Tatyana Petrovna explained to us: “My daughter was hospitalized there to help. Nikolai Nikolaevich can get up. He is mostly sitting. He walks on his own, but the daughter makes sure that, God forbid, he does not fall. ” The ribs should heal, but this takes time. Therefore, several months of recovery remain. Nikolai Nikolayevich plans to return home at the end next week. By the way, it turned out that Drozdov was no longer a vegetarian – they explained to him that due to the lack of meat in the diet, bones become brittle. The TV presenter has not eaten meat for more than 40 years, but He returned her to the diet several years ago, after the first fracture.
