The location of the plant is unknown, RT writes. The plant was visited by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who ordered an increase in production of materials for the production of atomic bombs.

North Korea officially declared itself a nuclear power in 2005. Prior to this, the country withdrew from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. At least six nuclear weapons tests are known, several of which were thermonuclear.
