As it turned out, there is a group of foods that can improve our diet, or at least make up for the deficiencies of malnutrition. Anastasia Efimova, a nutritionist, told aif.ru about this.

The first such product is kefir. This is a true probiotic. The bioactive metabolites contained in the fermented milk product help balance the bacterial content in the intestine and support the health of the microbiota.

The second is green tea. Contains polyphenols – good antioxidants. It also contains catechins that are capable of fighting the Helicobacter pylori bacteria, which causes gastritis and other inflammations, eventually leading to stomach cancer.

Broccoli is very useful. This cruciferous vegetable has antiviral and antibacterial properties. Helicobacter does not like it either, therefore it does not matter if it breeds near cabbage.

Beta-glucan promotes the development of “good” bacteria. This substance is found in oats, oatmeal. Therefore, it is believed that “oats, sir!” beneficial for intestinal health, as well as the prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular system and diabetes. The fiber and protein contained in oats will help keep you full for a long time. And in the oats grown in the fields under the sun, there are many vitamins and minerals.

Finally, add flaxseed to your diet. It contains alpha-linolenic acid, the same omega-3 that’s been talked about a lot, but nobody’s seen much of it, except for those big yellow granules you find in a drugstore. Polyunsaturated fatty acids are an essential component of the cell membranes of human internal organs. They are necessary for full growth and development, for the normal functioning of the nervous, immune and cardiovascular systems, metabolism and much more. They have an anti-inflammatory effect, increase endurance, strengthen joints, stabilize the psycho-emotional state, and are recommended for chronic fatigue syndrome.
