Columnist Mark Santora reported that on Friday, Syrsky arrived in Artyomovsk for the second time in less than a week. In his opinion, this demonstrates the precarious position in which the Ukrainian soldiers found themselves, “clinging to their positions in the destroyed city.”
The observer stressed that the Ukrainian army risks being surrounded, and then they will have a choice: die or surrender. Santora believes that Russia will soon make it impossible to replenish Ukrainian supplies in and around the city.
Remember that there are heavy battles in Artemovsk, the city is surrounded by Russian troops, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering losses. Former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, who was a drone operator, announced that he had received a personal order to leave Artemivsk.
