Okko has launched a new recommendation system. Now the service will take into account not only the user’s personal preferences, but also the mood and viewing context. He writes about it “Afisha Daily”.
On the home page of online cinema, users can choose the mood to laugh, cry or be inspired, and the situation, for example, watch it as a couple, with family or in company. In addition, you can determine the country of production and the type of content.
Once selected, the user will be presented with a personalized recommendation. Therefore, a viewer with a large number of watched animations, who is determined to laugh with his family, will be offered the cartoon Rocket and Groot, and the service will recommend Henry Danger to another. With the new feature, Okko hopes to improve the user experience, increase customer satisfaction with the service, and increase overall watch time.
