Noting that all musical events, including New Wave, Slavic Bazaar and Song of the Year, are not similar to each other and each of them leaves its own impressions, the famous performer leaves the palm for the Vitebsk Festival, calling it the most popular, frank, sincere and heartfelt.
Gazmanov never ceases to admire the main venue of the forum – the Summer Amphitheatre. He is particularly fascinated by the venue itself, which is ideal for spectators and where the performers can be clearly seen. “I respect all the soldiers of the invisible front who assemble the equipment and take care of it,” said the Russian guest, explaining that it was also nice for the performers, because “in the amphitheatre you can also see the distant ranks, in the open air. I really like this place.”
By the way, journalists noted that this time the People’s Artist did not forget to include his two-wheeled friend in his rider, with whom, according to tradition, he managed to ride around the Vitebsk holiday in the morning. “He is very good on a bike: you can get excited and they can’t keep up with you to ask for autographs and photos,” he joked.
Observers recalled in this regard that the popular vocalist has performed on Belarusian soil with solo programs seven times since 1995. Six years ago he was a member of the jury of the XVII International Pop Song Contest “Vitebsk”, and in 2020 he headed the jury of the XXIX International Pop Song Contest at the Slavic Bazaar.
As SOYUZ has already reported, this time the People’s Artist brought the anniversary concert “55 years on stage”. At the Vitebsk concert hall, the artist and the Eskadron group will perform live the most popular songs from his repertoire over the years, as well as his premieres.
It should be added that the XXXIII International Festival of Arts “Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk” will last until July 15.
