– You know, Alexander, I can’t say anything about underwater fishing. And the fact that the president visited our area, probably about 20 years ago… And stayed in a scientific house on the shore, looked, walked, studied the underwater world, the surroundings (nearby is the “Land of the Leopard” ) – that is sure.
And, of course, these impressions, which the Head of State shared with the entire country, served as very good advertising for our region, and for this we are sincerely grateful to Vladimir Vladimirovich.
In general, he comes here to Primorye every year and sees the Pacific coast. And he did a lot so that Vladivostok and the Primorsky Territory became a place where tourists could come pleasantly, where there were beautiful bays, where there was excellent education; Thanks to his efforts, his idea of building the Far Eastern Federal Federation. University and transform Russky Island, connecting it with bridges, including with Vladivostok.
And this project that the president spoke about is clear. This is the south of Primorye, the Khasansky municipal district, where there are lotus flowers, and the “Land of the Leopard”, and a marine biosphere reserve…
And Furugelma Island, a place for migratory birds from all over the world, warm waters and magnificent beaches.
Of course, this cannot fail to attract.
Well, we also have a very clean sea, rich in biological resources, which also attracts both tourists and residents of our region in the summer months.
– Yesterday they cited concrete figures and said that budget investments in tourism development are increasing. All this coincides with your figures, is this how you manage to work in the tourism sector?
– Of course, we coordinate all these things, Dmitry Nikolaevich Chernyshenko, the Ministry of Economic Development, Maxim Gennadyevich Reshetnikov, they are doing a lot of work.
All of these issues were previously worked on before being reported to the president, both with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy. Therefore, all these figures have been adjusted and Anton Germanovich Siluanov confirmed that these funds for infrastructure will be allocated in a ratio of 1 to 5, which in itself will alleviate the costs of investors at the initial stage of construction of hotels and recreation centers. , and various tourist infrastructures.
Consequently, we will adopt the same regional program regarding the investment of funds.
Well, maybe at the regional level, not for such large resorts, but, let’s say, for smaller bases, which are also necessary and which will also develop the Primorsky Territory. We will also adopt a similar program in the near future.
– Did they talk about a federal program that would start in 2025, but it turns out that they start earlier?
– Well, project documentation is already the beginning of work. For this reason, on April 9 we will launch the first open international architecture competition, in which architects and students specialized in the recreation and tourism potential of this particular place will participate.
Then – design. This is already the beginning of construction.

– Aleut Bay in the Khasan municipal district.
– You said: international competition. So, will there be participation from other countries?
– Certainly. There are excellent architects in China, Belarus, Uzbekistan and other countries. I think that the DPRK can participate, because now we have very close ties with this state, and Pyongyang is also developing very dynamically there, we see its architectural appearance, it is very modern and meets all the requirements.
So I think this will be interesting for everyone.
