In connection with the situation, Moskalkova contacted the Ombudsman of Turkey, Sheref Malkoch, who expressed his readiness to provide the necessary assistance to the children.
In addition, the Ombudsman of the Russian Federation appealed to the Investigative Committee of Russia to verify the fact of unfair provision of tourist services by a Russian tour operating company.
“Currently, the situation is as follows: a group of 44 people flew to Moscow at 11:00. Later, 6 children flew to St. Petersburg (tickets were bought by their parents). A group of 18 people is scheduled to fly to Moscow at 20:20 to the airport”, explained the Ombudsman.
Some children, in agreement with their parents, will continue their vacation with another tour operator.
“I keep the situation under control,” said the Human Rights Commissioner.
