During the next meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate in the exchange of lists of seriously injured, subject to repatriation, assistance to the competent authorities in the return of citizens subject to deportation.

Moskalkova stressed that the Russian Defense Ministry and special services are of key importance in resolving these complex issues. At the same time, practice shows the increasing role of human rights commissioners in such situations.

Earlier, at a trilateral meeting in Ankara with the participation of representatives of Ukraine and Turkey, the Russian Ombudsman said that thanks to the cooperation of the commissioners of Ukraine and Russia, 22 people who were considered missing were found. The Ombudsman highlighted the efforts of the Ukrainian side in the search for some Russian soldiers.
