On March 1, the 4th International Forum-Exhibition “Clean Country” opens in the Skolkovo Technopark, the largest event in Russia in support of the national project “Ecology”. How will the development focus of the national project change in 2023? This will be known tomorrow. The venues of the forum will work until March 3. During this time, some forty business sessions and discussions will take place. Among the main topics are the development of nature tourism in the country, the conservation of resources (water, forests, biodiversity), the improvement of legislation on waste management, the prospects for industrial mortgages for companies, new meanings of ROP, as well as the substitution of imports by equipment of national production.

Traditionally, heads of federal ministries and agencies, governors, heads of leading industrial enterprises, developers of environmental technologies, equipment manufacturers, world environmental experts and well-known public figures are invited to participate. More than 5,000 guests are expected at the forum, including more than 300 speakers.

Discussions on the implementation of the federal Clean Air project will take place on March 1. The second day of the forum-exhibition will be entirely dedicated to waste. It is planned to discuss the issues of RSU management, the use of green financing tools for the development of an innovative economy, the prospects for gaining secondary resources, new meanings of the Extended Responsibility of Producers and Importers of Goods and Packaging (generally reduced to the abbreviation PVP) and others.

How to achieve the recycling standards established by the Decree of the President of Russia and make up for the missing capacity? What innovative methods for digital control of construction waste are available? What barriers still hinder the development of recycling? Experts will pay special attention to better legislation. The agenda includes a competitive selection of regional operators, accumulation standards and rules for the processing of MSW.

The conversation will also focus on clothing made with recycled materials in the session “Art, fashion and conscious consumption: what connects them”. Experts point out that the demand grows every year. This is due to the fact that more and more people are involved in environmental issues and more and more think about the need to make more conscious purchases. For example, upcycling is among the main fashion trends this year.
