“All polling stations opened as normal, there were no comments from members of election commissions and no similar data was received from observers,” said Olga Kirillova, head of the Moscow City Election Commission.
According to Vadim Kovalev, head of the Moscow Public Election Monitoring Office, all polling stations were open by 9:00 and there were no complaints or comments. “Public observers work at all polling stations,” he said.
Kovalev added that, contrary to expectations, during the first hour of operation of polling stations there were no difficulties with online voting. Moreover, the majority of those who took part in the elections voted online.
