As a result of the accident, the bus driver died and 16 passengers sought medical help.
According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the accident occurred in the Mikhailovsky area, at kilometer 783 of the R-22 Caspian Highway.
According to preliminary data, the bus driver drove into oncoming traffic, lost control and collided with a truck.
“Traffic police inspectors are working at the scene of the accident. The causes of the accident are being clarified. The road is operating normally,” said Alexey Semenov, head of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Mikhailovka.
