It is conceived as a resource center for advanced training of secondary vocational teachers from all over Russia. Up to 10 thousand teachers are expected to learn to work with the most modern equipment annually in educational laboratories and production sites.
In addition, about 3,000 students from Nizhny Novgorod universities will also be able to gain up-to-date skills and knowledge in the field of metallurgy, digital and additive technologies, robotics, electronics, and creative industries.
– The shortage of personnel at enterprises of the Nizhny Novgorod region is about 20 thousand people. Most of them are job specialties. Therefore, we have actively joined the program “Professionalism” of the Ministry of Education, – says Gleb Nikitin.
Last year, three clusters of metallurgy, automotive industry and agriculture were created in the region, bringing together educational institutions and industries. Three more are planned for this year.
By the way, the Nizhny Novgorod technology park will not be the only one. A similar project is being developed in Kaluga – classes will start there in September.
