On August 30, a meeting of the RFU ethics committee was held, at which, among other things, the behavior of Orenburg’s sports director Dmitry Andreev after the match against Rostov in the RPL championship was considered.

Then one of the club’s directors expressed his dissatisfaction with the work of the referees in an obscene manner and also tried to exert physical influence.

For his violation, Andreev received a punishment: a ban on any football-related activity for a period of three years. Of these, two years are suspended. He was also fined 300 thousand rubles.

“The Ethics Committee decided to suspend Dmitry Andreev from any football-related activity for a period of 3 years, of which 1 year is considered a real punishment and two are considered suspension. I hope that this decision will show the entire football community the inadmissibility of such behavior and its negative consequences for the image of our football,” said the chairman of the Ethics Committee, Andrei Stukalov, on the decision.
