Oskar Kuchera, in an interview with Yuri Dudyu (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia), told how his son Mark received an American passport. According to the TV presenter, his heir was born in the United States, although he was originally supposed to be born in Moscow. “The birth was supposed to take place in Moscow, but it was mid-summer and we wanted to take the rest of the children on vacation. I had to transfer the birth to another country. A friend advised me to fly to Miami, since everything is at the highest level there. For us, it was the perfect moment. It would be foolish not to give my son a US passport,” Kuchera said.
According to the TV presenter, his wife Yulia offered him to leave Russia twice in the past year, but Kuchera refused both times. He was supported by his 17-year-old son Alexander. Father and son dissuaded the wife of the TV presenter from emigrating.
In his interview, Kuchera spoke out in favor of the CBO, but on the eve of the YouTube show going on the air, he began to wonder how exactly Yuri Dud would interpret his words.
“My interview with Dud came out. We talked for 4 and a half hours. I don’t know what Yura will cut… But I hope the meaning will be preserved… It wasn’t easy. I will write why I accepted. Not for money. I didn’t get a penny, and Dud doesn’t pay anybody. Because besides liberal-minded comrades who are ashamed of being Russian, there should be a different opinion,” Kuchera wrote on his Telegram channel.
However, many viewers in Russia condemned the TV presenter for this interview. In his opinion, Kuchera should not have contacted a person like Yuri Dud at all.
TV presenter Lera Kudryavtseva spoke in defense of her colleague: together with Kuchera, she hosted the program “The stars united” on the NTV channel. Lera harshly besieged the critics and stressed that Oscar is a true patriot:
“After listening to this interview, I understand both sides. I do not want to write what many have written. I want to support Oscar. For his, for ours, for a patriot, ”Lera wrote, noting that Kuchera really tried to convey his point of view to the audience and defend the position of people who are proud to be Russian.
