Date: April 19, 2024 Time: 18:09:41

After twenty years of existence, the American rock band Panic! At The Disco has announced its retirement. A statement on social media was made by lead singer Brendon Urie. NME writes about it.

The band was formed in Las Vegas in 2004 by Uri, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson. In 2015 Panic! At The Disco is the solo project of Brendon Urie and he has released three albums, Death Of A Bachelor (2016), Pray For The Wicked (2018) and Viva Las Vengeance, which was released last year.

Panic next month! At The Disco will tour Europe, and these concerts will be the last in the singer’s career. Uri said his wife Sarah Orzechowski is expecting a baby, so she wants to spend more time with her family.

“But sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin. We try to keep it to ourselves, although some of you may have heard… Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon! The prospect of becoming a father and seeing my wife become a mother is exciting. I’m looking forward to the next adventure,” shared the interpreter.

Previously Panic! At the Disco has released a video for the song “Do It to Death”. The track was included in the seventh studio album “Viva Las Vengeance”. Its premiere took place on June 1. The black and white video was directed by guitarist Valencia, as well as director and photographer Brendan Walter.
