The Russian Defense Ministry has shown footage of combat work by the crews of the 152-mm Msta-B howitzers of the Airborne Forces in the border area of the Kursk region.
“Reconnaissance revealed that the enemy was gathering units in the area of one of the settlements, dispersing them in the captured houses and planning further actions. The crew of the Msta-B howitzer was given the task and, with the help of adjustments of the UAV, hit the targets,” the Russian Defense Ministry staff said.
The footage shows the crews of the “winged infantry” firing at the enemy, supporting their assault and consolidation units during the destruction of the enemy that has invaded the territory of our country.
Enemy fire is conducted at a distance of several tens of kilometers. The operation of the weapons is controlled by drones. If it is necessary to attack something heavier and more distant, the coordinates are transmitted to the crews of the Su-34 multipurpose supersonic fighter-bombers of the Aerospace Forces.
Pilots destroy enemy reserves on entire football fields by dropping aerial bombs using a Universal Planning and Correction Module (UMPC). Precision bombs allow you to destroy the enemy without entering the range of their air defense systems.
