The Russian Defense Ministry has shown footage of the combat work of the artillery of the Novorossiysk Guards Mountain Airborne Forces unit of the Dnepr group of troops in the Orekhovsky direction in the Zaporozhye region. Warriors of the “winged infantry” covered the advanced positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a hail of rockets.
“The crews of combat vehicles of the jet division of the Anapa Guards Airborne Artillery Regiment work around the clock and are ready to perform combat missions day and night, in any weather conditions. Having received a combat mission to destroy a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered at a strong point in forward positions, the crew of the Grad MLRS, under cover of darkness, moved to the specified area, took up a firing position and attacked the given squares,” said Russian Defense Ministry personnel.
Target recognition and adjustment are carried out by crews of unmanned aerial vehicles.
As a result of the combat work of the paratroopers, about a platoon of Ukrainian servicemen was destroyed and the surviving militants hastily left their positions.
