The third demonstration called “March for Peace” takes place in the French capital. Two similar rallies were held in Paris in February.
Several thousand demonstrators, who started their procession from the Luxembourg Palace, where the Senate is located, chanted the slogans “Macron, we don’t want your war!”, “Let’s get out of NATO before”.
The action was once again organized by the Patriots party, which opposes the provision of military assistance to kyiv and insists on France’s withdrawal from the North Atlantic Alliance.
Earlier, the leader of this party, Florian Filippo, said that Washington is making every effort to attract as many participants as possible to the conflict in Ukraine and thus make it global. He believes that France should not participate in it. And the military assistance plan for Ukraine agreed by the European Union, estimated at 18 billion euros, Filippo described as madness.
