The same educational program, which now works as part of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”, has long gained popularity. According to the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Ilyushnikova, the competition is four people per place.
In addition, almost all regions have programs and initiatives for the development of women’s entrepreneurship. Regional centers “My Business” conduct master classes, round tables and business bachelorette parties, where entrepreneurs share experiences and give advice to beginners. Conditions are being created to improve the skills of a business woman.
Particular attention – the organization of classes for women with children – and not only for young mothers. “Until the end of October, the Mama-Emprendedora project will be implemented in 64 regions. In total, we plan to train 1,500 women in 2023,” said Deputy Minister Tatyana Ilyushnikova. Women on maternity leave or with minor children, including foster mothers, adoptive parents and guardians, can receive training under the programme. And those who did do not regret it.

The flourishing business of Olga Safonova from Khanty-Mansiysk is not an allegory. Her “Green House” really resembles a small tropical corner in the Far North.
It all started with the fact that three years ago Olga began a difficult period in her life. She lost her job. “I caught myself thinking that I don’t want to look for a new job,” Olga admits, “but I want to do what I love, my hobby: floristry”. Friends suggested turning the hobby into a business. Olga dared and participated in the intensive “Mother Entrepreneur”. He helped her learn the basics of doing business, understanding financial and legal issues, and being able to market her services. And she won a grant for the implementation of her project “Green House” in the amount of 100 thousand rubles. Since then, Olga’s life has changed radically.
Today Olga has a small but quite successful business. She is not only engaged in flowers, but also in the design of various spaces on Ugra. She recently created an elegant green entrance group for one of the hotels. Olga is actively helped by her son. She brings soil, waters plants, makes videos for social networks and even acts as a model for the presentation of new flowers – all this is done by Vladislav. As Olga admits, he today she feels like an absolutely happy person.
And he dreams of opening a large greenhouse in Khanty-Mansiysk, where anyone can plunge into a special green atmosphere, get advice on growing plants, admire the flowers even in the harsh northern winter. This is very important for the inhabitants of the Far North.
Kristina Demichkovskaya, who lives in Kamchatka, also completed training under the “Mom-Entrepreneur” program. In August 2022, she defended her business project, won the contest and received a grant of one million rubles. She has her own workshop for the production of EVA mats for cars and premises.
